Inua is a Swahili word with three promises: to empower, to uplift, and to raise. Inua Hub was founded in 2025 to honour that word in public, first as workshops in Lisbon and Dar es Salaam, then as an organisation that treats digital opportunity as infrastructure.
The work is practical. Training in digital skills and entrepreneurship. Support for small businesses entering a digital economy. Rooms where young people, women, partners and institutions can meet each other and stay in the work.
Inua Hub now operates across Tanzania and Portugal. It is the first institution Johnas built, and the one that holds the others. Everything else is a door that opens from here.
